In Celebration of

Peggy Hobbs (nee Gullett, formerly Loch)

September 20, 1940 -  August 16, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peggy Hobbs, suddenly at her home in Maple, on Tuesday August 16, 2022, at the age of 81.

Beloved wife of Murray Hobbs for over 26 years. Cherished mother of Brett, Rick, Steve, Leanne and Colin. Devoted grandmother and great grandmother.

Peggy grew up in Fonthill; the eldest of six siblings. She was a nurse and studied in Hamilton. Nursing was an appropriate occupation for Peggy as she excelled at helping and caring for others. She will be missed dearly.

A Visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10 N. of the QEW) on Sunday, from 3 - 5 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, August 22, 2022, at 11am.

Interment Springcreek Cemetery.

Online condolences may be made at www.turnerporter.ca.

Given Peggy’s deep commitments to the Aphasia Institute, donations, in lieu of flowers, would be greatly appreciated.

Leanne. Our hearts goes out to you, Myke, Meghan, Cameron and Braden. What comes to mind first are the afternoon wine and cheese times we spent at the cottage with both our families. Peggy always enjoyed a glass of chilled white. She was so kind to our family, especially my kids. Your mum will be missed.❤️
