Dearest Pearl: I cannot imagine the joy you have experienced in meeting with the Lord and Saviour of your life. Also, the grand reunion you have experienced in joining all the family members that went ahead of you. Thank you for your devotion to your loving family and your service and loving example you have been to all who knew you while here on earth. Rest in perfect Peace as you begin yet another glorious journey in the presence of the Lord for all eternity. You will be sadly missed by all your family as they loved you deeply but I know the love you extended to them, along with the love of Jesus Christ, will see them through.

Love and prayers, Dorothy

The light and joy in that beautiful face says it all. She definitely was a 'Pearl' with a capital 'P', a gem and a true 'lady' from head to toe, gracious and thoughtful, obviously devoted to her late husband, Al, and her children, grand-children and great-grand-children. She excelled in home-making and hospitality, and lived out quietly but faithfully a deep, abiding faith in God. Eternal joy with God, Aunt Pearl, and with your loved ones, who went before you. Love, Jan

Pearl was such a beautiful soul. Her kindness and generosity was exceptional. She was lovely and warm, caring and a dear neighbour and friend to myself and my family. We will miss her very much. Our hearts and thoughts go out to her family. Good night sweet Pearl.

I met Al and Pearl when I was about 10 years old and we were all attending Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga at the time. They both took me under their wings like grandparents and I always referred to them as my "adopted" grandparents because they were as important to me as my biological grandparents. I'm so glad I was able to see Pearl one last time when I was home last summer, and was able to call her last month from El Salvador. I loved her very much, and I'm so sad I wasn't able to say good bye, but I take comfort in the fact that she had a long, good life and is now reunited with the family members who went before her. My condolences to all her family and friends. Miss you Pearl, and sending hugs!
