My mother taught me to live life passionately and to love deeply.
She lived a full life, and so many wonderful stories come to mind. The first time I took her to Beaver Valley Ski Club, many men took an immediate fancy to her. Her angelic looks, musical voice and charming demeanor were very alluring. On one Ladies Ski Day in particular, she got up on stage to show off her dance moves and had the entire crowd cheering her on.
Lake Muskoka was special to her. Upon her first visit, she fell in love with the cottage life and insisted on having a place of her very own. She loved her 'Castle' and worked hard to make everything beautiful for her family and friends.
Mutti, I feel honored and privileged to have been your daughter. I love you for always, I’ll miss you forever.
Omi loved social events, food and a little bit of chocolate. But what she loved the most was family. She was always at family events big and small and available for a visit or phone call. We miss you Omi.
Our deepest condolences to all of the family
The first time I met Pauline, she talked my ear off for hours. She had such a colorful personality (and wanted to make sure I was worthy of her daughter). I found her fascinating.
Pauline always had helpful advice for us, whether it was regarding marriage, housekeeping or parenting children. It wasn't so much meddling as it was an expression of her love and concern. She always wanted to make sure we were thriving.
Pauline was always a model of self-determination. She got stuff done. With her quirky grasp of the english language, it didn't matter to her if she mispronounced "Show me your bowls." She would press onwards and get those bowls. The time for laughter and tears was afterwards, and we shared much laughter and love.
Thanks you for all you did for us.
To The Kramreither Family
I was so very saddened to learn of the passing of Pauline. She was a lady who was full of life and incredible energy. I will never forget how she would sit for hours designing her beloved jewelry that she would proudly, and generously give to those she loved. I also remember how she loved swimming at the cottage and at the pool at her place in Florida. She would swim (and chat!), gliding effortlessly and gracefully through the water.
But most of all, I remember her love of her family. It was everything to her. And she was proud of each and every one of you. You are all her legacy.
Love Meredith
