In Celebration of

Paul “Denis” Moher

May 22, 1952 -  October 8, 2017

Peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Martha for 34 years. Loving father of Olena and her husband JJ Van Dijk, Michael, and Marta. Cherished son of Mary and late Patrick Joseph Moher. Dear brother of Michael (Carol), and Rosemarie. Denis will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Denis’ humour, unwavering positivity, humility, and selflessness will forever be carried on. He worked relentlessly as a Partner with Gilmore and Company LLP, forging not only partnerships but lifelong friendships with his clients. However, his work was secondary to the sacrifices he made for his wife and children. His family is left with the legacy of strength he provided, which will forever endure. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W, Etobicoke (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory’s Roman Catholic Church, 122 Rathburn Rd. Etobicoke, on Thursday at 11 a.m. A reception will be held following the funeral at St. George's Golf and Country Club at 12:30 p.m. If desired, donations to St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation or the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, (416) 231-2283.

Marta, Olena, Mike and Martha...

Our deepest condolences to you and the family. We all have such wonderful memories of Denis and he will missed deeply. That warm smile and the sense of humor he had, when around him there were always a lot of laughing from the stories he would tell or the things he would say. He is and always will be in our hearts .. thoughts. We loved him so very much.

Mike,
On behalf of the Brown family we would like to pass on our condolences to you, your mother, Martha, your uncle Michael and the rest of your family on the loss of your father. Although we only met Denis in your senior year as co – captain of Amherst hockey, he was a beacon of inspiration and one who both Suzie and I feel privileged to have had the pleasure of meeting. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate your father’s life.

Sincerely,
The Brown family

When I was in Windsor he was a great friend showing me the ropes and telling me what and what not to do. I will cherish that.
