Born June 6, 1941 in St. Joseph, Trinidad and Tobago, died peacefully on January 12, 2018 in Toronto, Canada. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife for 53 years, Marvo Wood-Salomon (nee Dayal), and two upstanding, supportive sons, Gerard (Monica) and Mark. He is also the caring brother to Tony, Michael, Stephen, Margaret, Ann, and Susan. He now joins his Father and Mother, John and Ida Wood-Salomon, as they welcome him with open arms. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) Etobicoke, on Friday from 4-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Road (at LaRose Ave.) on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant House (20 Gerrard St. E., Toronto ON, M5B 2P3), a shelter where youth can prosper, a cause that Patrick supported for many years.
