Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, age 62. Patrick Baumann, beloved husband of Penny McIlraith, dear son of Rea (Uhr) Baumann and the late Hans Peter Baumann, loving father of Peter Baumann, Toronto, and John Baumann, Petawawa. Patrick was born August. 5, 1960 in Montreal, later moving with his parents to Toronto.

Patrick was a wonderful husband, son, father, brother-in-law and friend. He was well respected and liked by his work colleagues. He had recently retired and enjoyed spending more time with family and friends and his many interests. He loved cooking, mushroom hunting, ice fishing with his brother-in-law, frisbee golfing and golfing with his sons, gardening, snowshoeing, biking, swimming across Moon River with his wife and sisters-in-law, walking the dog and going to concerts at the Kee to Bala. Patrick was an avid supporter of the Chelsea Football Club (soccer). He will be dearly missed.

The funeral will be held Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Turner & Porter, Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto. The family have time of their own from 1:30 to 2 p.m., followed by time to greet friends and relatives from 2-3 p.m. A 30-40 minute service is scheduled at 3 p.m.

After the service family and friends are invited to the house.
