On behalf of my husband Vasanth, my children Serah, Simon and Sean and my mother-in-law Amala, I would like to extend our condolences to Patrick's family.

We met Patrick a few years ago in church and he quickly became very special to all of us. We will miss him, his smile, his stories about his vacations, his playful ribbing of my boys, his presence. Our church community has lost a valued member and we have lost a dear friend.

Rest in peace Patrick, in the love of the Lord.

Dear Patrick's family -- I only learned today of Patrick's passing when it was announced at the Nativity mass. I've known Patrick from our parish when I was a child (now I'm an "old lady"), so even though I didn't know him very well personally, we would occasionally chat after mass and I loved his beautiful smile, his charming sense of humour and most of all, the hugs we would exchange! Dear Patrick -- rest in peace, and yes, I did always include you in my prayers, as per your request and will now continue to include you in my beloved deceased prayer list.
