In Celebration of

Patricia Pimento

March 30, 1942 -  July 23, 2017

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Patricia Carmella Pimento, 75 of Mississauga Ontario. She passed away at Credit Valley Hospital on Sunday July 23rd due to complications with Diabetes.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph. She is survived by her children, Tracy (Erik), Steven (Andrea) and Joseph, her sister, Marilyn, her three grandchildren, Nicholas, Meghan and Iain, as well as her aunt Teresa in New York and her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mother was born in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario to Alexander and Rose-Anne Munro. She lived most of her life in Toronto and Mississauga. She loved to stay busy and be involved with her community and her church. She lead a troupe of brownies, delivered communion to many, organized bake sales and fundraising for her children's schools, hockey and dance. She was mostly a homemaker, but worked for The Toronto Star, Reitmans, CIBC, The Toronto Sun. During her retirement she stayed busy by being a crossing guard to pre-school children.
Her later years saw her in Villia Forum long-term care where she ran for resident's council, organized bake sales and charity raffels as well as fought city council to change the direction of the one-way street to suit the pickup and drop off of Wheel Trans users.
The Pimento Family would like to thank the staff at Villa Forum Long Term Care and the Dialysis Doctors and Nurses at Credit Valley Hospital for all of their caring for our mother these past few years.
