Dear Anne and Lesley,
I do hope you remember me from yesteryear, as Gordon and I and our children wish to express to you and yours, how saddened we are to have receive the shocking news of Pat's demise. We were, at this point in time, awaiting the address and whereabouts of Pat's last move from Clarkson Road and then King/Fergus, Ont. but was not successful in ascertaining same.
I met Pat when we were both 11 years of age and became immediate friends from the get go. I considered it an honour when she agreed to be one of my attendants /bridesmaids at our wedding on Sept. 26, 1964. We remember so well how beautiful she looked that day and indeed throughout her life. While circumstances dictated an absence of our keeping in touch these latter years, I have a lifetime of wonderful memories we shared, including much laughter, the celebration of major events in both our lives. We so fondly remember our travels together and her visits to us in London U.K., and Philadelphia etc. and her being so instrumental in where our family took up residence upon our return to Canada after an 11 year absence. Pat and I shared many lunches/dinners together in those days and heart to heart conversations about our lives that will stay with me as treasured memories.
We hope to convey our sincere sympathies to you and the family, by attending her Celebration of Life on Saturday and in the interim, please remember the following quote:-
"One Less Good Soul On Earth,
One More Angel In Heaven"

With our condolences,
Marilyn, Gordon, Timoth & Diana Parker

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew your mom through my mom, Mary Lou Paul. Pat kindly hosted a wedding shower for me many years back. She was kind, fun, genuine and witty, certainly made an impression on anyone who met her. I will always remember her fantastic sense of humour and her laugh.
My thoughts are with you and all of her friends.
