In Celebration of

Patricia Elik

October 25, 1937 -  September 19, 2023

After a brief illness, Pat, 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Ian Anderson House in Oakville, ON.

Pat was born to the late Arthur and Pat Elliott on October 25, 1937, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the eldest to sisters Sandi (Kimber) and Barbara (Alastair, deceased).

She leaves behind her loving daughters Meghan (George) and Kristy (Sean), and her adoring grandchildren Alex, Taylor, Adam (Maggie), and Kasey. Pat will also be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.

Playing tennis was Mom’s passion—that and getting a good deal at Winners!—and she made many good friends, both on and off the court. She was an excellent cook; we all enjoyed Grammy’s holiday gatherings and her many traditions, including, of course, the legendary aspic. We will continue to honour her legacy whenever we gather together as a family.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve heard many mentions of Mom’s fabulous sense of style. An accomplished seamstress, she also had a keen eye for interior design. She absolutely loved clothes and always had just the right accessories to match.

Pat’s family would like to thank Dr. Yee and the caring staff at Credit Valley Hospital as well as the exceptional team at Ian Anderson House. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Clarkson Pump & Patio, 1744 Lakeshore Road West, Mississauga, on Tuesday, September 26 from 2 to 4 p.m.
