In Celebration of

Pasquale Pietro (Peter) Felicetti

October 15, 1942 -  December 13, 2023

A cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and daughters on December 13, 2023, at the age of 81. He was born on October 15, 1942, in Cosenza, Italy.

Peter dedicated over 30 years of his life to Bell Canada, where he worked diligently before retiring. His commitment and dedication to his profession were commendable, and he left a lasting impact on those he worked with. Upon retirement, he began traveling often to the Caribbean and Italy with his wife and family. He enjoyed the sun and beach more than our cold Canadian winters.

However, Peter's true passion and talent lay in the world of soccer. Peter became one of the pillars of Canadian professional soccer, leaving an indelible mark on the sport. His contributions to the game were immense, and he will be remembered as one of the most respected coaches.

Peter's love for soccer was evident in his coaching style. He approached the game with unwavering passion and instilled that same enthusiasm in his players. His dedication to developing young talent and fostering a love for the sport was unparalleled.
Beyond his professional achievements, Peter was a loving husband to his beloved wife, Luisa, for over 50 years. Their bond was a testament to their enduring love and commitment.

Peter was also a loving father to his two daughters, Marida (Guy) and Natasha (Robert) He cherished his role as a father and was always present and supportive.

Furthermore, Peter was a proud Nonno to his five grandchildren, Sydney, Peter, Eloise, Nathaniel, and Grace. He adored spending time with them, sharing jokes, playing games and always spoiling them.

Peter was predeceased by his parents Francesco and Ida and his brother Antonio (Elda)

Peter Felicetti will be remembered as a remarkable individual whose passion for soccer and love for his family touched the lives of many. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

We had a feeling of sadness when we heard of Peter's passing. We know how much he meant to all of you, especially to you, Marida. Your dad was kind to us in our brief time together but this left a lasting impression on us, which shows that all of the kind words and love expressed in the past few days was fully deserved. We send all of our love to all of you at this time in the hopes that you will find comfort in the days ahead.

Peter, was a loyal and dedicated employee with Bell Canada working as a Technician in a super critical environment. Peter always gave his heart and passion to the Company he loved and was a very proud member of our team at 76 Adelaide St. Toronto
I was fortunate to work with Peter for approximately
20 years and developed a kind and friendly relationship. Peter never complained about anyone, however would let you know if you weren’t doing a good job as part of our Elite Team. We will all miss Peters laughter, his wonderful soccer knowledge and love that he always displayed for his family. Thank you Peter for all you gave our team.

My sincerest condolences to Peter’s family and friends. I had the privilege of working with Peter at Bell Canada. When I think about Peter, at work, the word “passionate” always comes to mind. He really loved what he did and we were all lucky to be able to work with him. With his high energy level, I really thought he would go on forever!
May He rest in peace.

Peter was my coach at a couple of the teams I played for in the 80s and had various nicknames for me .
A lovely man who I never heard use foul language although I’m sure there were times when he would have been forgiven if he had.
Highly respected within the soccer community he will be sorely missed.
