In Celebration of

Olive Mae Rea (nee Cowton)

May 2, 1931 -  November 5, 2019

It is with great sadness the Rea family announces the passing of Olive on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Matt Rea. Loving mother of Matt (Bruna), and Mark. Cherished grandmother of Emily (Wally), Neil, and Danielle (Matt). Adored great-grandmother of Henry and Ivy. Dear sister of Shirley White, Deanna Maltby and the late Bobby, Jimmy, Arnold, and Rick Cowton.

Olive will be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law Geraldine and Valerie. Treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews. At Olive’s request a private family funeral will take place at a later date. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Etobicoke Humane Society would be appreciated.

Matt
I'm very sorry to read of your loss. We celebrated my father's 93 at the Canadiana last month and there has been a significant decline in the past past year.
I can't believe I am retired 10 years and I am sorry we have lost touch, nor have I seen Paul and Cec for a couple of years.
Again my condolences to you and your family and I hope you are doing well yourself.
With fond memories of our time together.

Our Deepest Sympathy. A very wonderful person has passed away and will be missed. Many enjoyable meals and get togethers were had with Olive at Reynaldo's.

We were so sad to hear of Olive’s passing. We have fond and happy memories of visiting dear Olive when we were in Canada. Such a lovely lady. She will be missed by all her family and friends. Thinking of you all at this sad time. X
