Olga is survived by her loving family, her children, grand-children and great grand-children:

Alex and Betty Osuszek, Bryan and Kathryn, Michael and Kimberley, Kristen and Stephen
And all her loving friends who can be counted as anyone she met.
Olga lived a storied life where her character and determination prevailed in everything she did. Olga was born into humble beginnings, on February 2nd, 1927, raised in her childhood home in the town of Volyn in the province of Oblast, Ukraine. In June of 1942 at the age of 15 in the midst of WW2 Olga was uprooted from her home and transported to work on a farm 20KMs from Hanover, Germany. It was at this farm where she met her husband Piotr (Peter) Osuszek. At the conclusion of the war both Olga and Peter were transferred to a refugee camp where they had a civilian wedding, birthed and buried their first son Richard. Eventually they were approved for immigration to Canada where they arrived in Halifax on Peter’s birthday, January 13th, 1948. With humility and pride they attained their Canadian citizenship and would always declare their gratitude for the opportunity of living, working tirelessly at Westside Cleaners and Tailor and raising their family in Canada.
During her lifetime Olga raised, dare we say, 3 wonderful children, through whom her legacy continues. Our loving memories of Olga include her generosity, with a welcoming spirit always ready to entertain and feed people with enough provisions in place to feed any unanticipated, though always welcomed guest(s). Her strong faith and devotion to living a prayerful, religious life with the utmost morality and kindness to everyone. Her undying love and care for her entire family with whom she shared her most cherished moments. Her lasting love for her deceased husband Peter. Finally, her passionate spirit for living her life fully and as capably as she could.
This was our very special Mom, Baba / Babcia Ola who will always be remembered as a joyful and engaging person who welcomed and offered her hospitality to all.
We all pray that she is resting in peace in the loving presence of her Lord, Jesus Christ along with her husband Peter and those special people who have passed and were all touched by her love.
