Norm was a large part of our life at Shell Canada. Besides his professional contributions, Norm's participation and antics in the social life was what I remember most fondly. We will not forget you, Norm. May you rest in peace.
So sorry for your loss May they Rest In Peace. Bob and Debi Thompson
My wife Debbie & I have known Norm (and then Betty) since I worked at Shell in the mid 70's to mid 80's. Since then we continued to see each other at the Monarch House and Shell XMAS Bashes. He was a true friend - always showing interest in our latest curling endeavour, sharing status of our fights with prostate cancer, and generally catching up. We'll miss not seeing him when the Shell gang get together in the future. May he rest in peace.
Dad, it's hard to believe that you are gone. I have been thinking of the Dad I knew through out the years. The Dad that helped me polish my Sunda school shoes when I was a toddler, to the Dad who took me to see every capital of every province in Canada when I was a boy, to the Dad who paid off my student loans when I was a young man, to the Dad who gave me a babystroller when I was just a new father, to the Dad who would call me concerned about my health when his health was more of a concern to me.
I will always love you, Dad.
Sorry to lose an old friend. We have many fond memories of all the times spent together over 40 years of friendship. Our condolences to Linda, Michael, Glen and the rest of your families.
