Deep feelings of sadness at Norm's death mixed with deep gratitude that he was part of our life. As I have said many times, I loved shaking Norm's rough, calloused hand since those hands represented so many good works loving contributed over the years. May the Peace of Christ rest gently on all generations of the Roper family.
Our thoughts are with the Roper family as you mourn the loss of a special man. One of our best memories of Norm was at the annual Courtsfield ice cream social that the Roper family organized. He was always front and centre dishing out the ice cream, entertaining the children and welcoming newcomers.
Treasure those memories.
To a great friend of 20 yrs I’m grateful for the time we had together, sharing the love of working together on many projects including The Avro Arrow. We shared many laughs great conversations, including time spent with family.
Thanks for every memory you are greatly missed
So sorry to hear of Norm’s passing. We loved being neighbours of the Ropers. We send our love and condolences to the whole family.
It was pleasure having you as a Friend, your Family welcomed us in the new country, gave us a hope and helped to establish our new home, you will be missed. Thank you for everything. Rest in Peace.
