After a life filled with inspiration, God called his faithful servant, Norma Fleming, peacefully home on September 9, 2025, at the age of 79. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Sonia, and her grandson Brian.

Norma will be lovingly remembered by her devoted siblings: Doxelyn, Dexter, Dolreen, Winston, Horace, Glennor, Sandra, Thelma, Burnell, Radcliffe, and Evans. She now joins her beloved husband, Donald, and cherished brothers, Raphael and Gregory, in eternal rest.

Norma will also be missed and held dear in the hearts of her many cherished family members, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Norma immigrated from her beloved Jamaica to Canada in 1974, beginning a remarkable journey as a dedicated nurse at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, where she proudly served for over 35 years. She built a fulfilling life in Edmonton and later in Sherwood Park, Alberta, embracing her passions for gardening, cooking, and home decorating. Her unwavering faith in God was a guiding light throughout her life.

Later in life, she moved to Mississauga, Ontario, where, when illness took hold, she was cared for by her devoted army of angels: Natalie, Shantel, Desrine, Tara, Hellen, Bola, Kadia, Vier, Asare, Remi, Tia, and Denise. Their compassion and dedication brought comfort and dignity to her final chapter.

Visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga on Saturday September 20, from 10-11am, Funeral Service will be at 11am, with a recption to follow.
The interment will take place at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens following the reception.
