ANTONIETTA DI IORIO (Old Bread Route Client : Serviced by the Diiorio Family in the 70-80's)

Dear Condotta Family:
My name is Antonietta DiIorio and I was your mothers Panettiera back in the 70's 80's. While it was my father Filippo's Bread Route , I delighted in assisting him every Saturday. While I enjoyed talking to all our clients, Ms. Norma was one of my many treasured clients. She always took time to talk to me, then a teenager. I always remember her sitting on her stoop that lead to the Kitchen by the side door and she would take out her money while I held the two cornetto breads that she ordered every Saturday. She always carried a smile and the most pleasant attitude. You knew from her kindness that this was a good soul. While I lost my father in 2009 , i hold dear in my heart all his clients. I pray for this kind soul that I can call a long long distant friend and with the fondest of memories. I also remember her kids either opening the side door to me and calling for their mother so that she could handle the transaction. I remember her son Franco as well, I was sorry to see in Ms. Norma obituary that he had passed. I pray for all three souls today. Norma, TIto and Franco. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your Saturday Ritual of enjoying your hometown favorite The Cornetto Bread. God Bless you and as you can see, I will never forget you Norma! I know you took the express elevator to Paradise. RIP
