Nicholas Jamieson

December 4, 1941 -  November 12, 2017

Died on November 12, 2017 at home, at age 75. Born at Toronto, on December 4, 1941. Beloved son of Wilberforce Almern Jamieson and Margery Ruth (Hewer) Jamieson late of Toronto and Kitchener. One time known as Brother Nichols, O.H.C. (Anglican Order of the Holy Cross) (!962-1977). Former Teacher in the Education Department of the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto (1973-1990) and at St. Aloysius Catholic School for the Toronto Catholic District School Board (1990-2001), then supply teacher for the TCDSB (2001-2016). Volunteer at St. Michaels’ Cathedral Basilica, Annunciation, Don Mills, and St. Clement Church.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of Jane subway from 2-4 & 7-9 Sunday, November 19th. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement Roman Catholic Church, 409 Markland Drive, on Monday, November 20th at 11 a.m. Cremation. Burial in the Jamieson plot in Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford, Ontario. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, or the Congregation of the Oratory, Holy Family Church, Toronto, or Toronto East General Hospital, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
