Nicholas Cameron

December 3, 1989 -  March 22, 2018

Nick left us tragically and suddenly as the result of a car accident, at the age of 28. He was the beloved son of Cheryl Hawkes and the late Bill Cameron (2005). Cherished brother of Patrick Cameron and Rachel Cameron Burns. Loving brother-in-law of Jason Burns and most attentive uncle of Theodora and Charlie Burns. He leaves his aunt and uncle, Robin (Cameron) Craig and David Craig and cousins Andrew and Lorna Craig. Nick also leaves his stepbrother Sean Patenaude and countless grieving friends and extended family members. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service for Nick will be held at Trinity-St. Paul’s United Church, 427 Bloor St. W., Toronto, on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow. Memorial donations in Nick’s honour may be made to the United Nations High Commission for Refugees – Canada to reflect Nick’s deep concern for the plight of the world’s refugees. Hi Cheryl,
A friernd sent me an email about the death of your son. What a horrible situation for you and your family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are for you as you struggle for a life taken far too soon. I hadn’t heard Bill had died. You’ve had a lot of grief. Dear Cheryl and family,

My condolences for your unimaginable loss. I remember Bill's deep pride in Nicholas (and Rachel and Patrick) during our days together at CBLT.

Nick's website contains an impressive body of work for such a young man. He clearly shared the family trait for ambitious, creative and gifted journalism.

Like his father, he leaves us far too early.

My thoughts are with you all.

Best Regards,
Bruce
