In Celebration of

Nancy Elizabeth Batchelor

October 10, 1944 -  March 26, 2026

Nancy Batchelor passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on March 26, 2026, at Trillium Mississauga Hospital, at the age of 81.

Born on October 10, 1944, in Forest Hill, Nancy lived a life filled with love, friendship and cherished moments. She treasured time at the beach with friends and neighbours at our childhood cottage in Wasaga. She found great joy in boating and in the company of dear friends at Queen’s Cove Marina in Victoria Harbour. And in her later years, she looked forward to lunches and dinners with friends as well as tea and crafts with her condo community.

She will be deeply missed by her children Debbie (Jason), Pattie (Chris), Steve (Amanda), and Chris (Yuko). Her greatest joy was becoming a Nana to Lauren and Maddy, who brought immense happiness to her life.

Nancy will be lovingly welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Isobel and Norman Sanderson, her love and companion Bill Radawez and many dear friends who predeceased her.

Nancy will be remembered for her warmth and laughter, her love of family and friends, and the kindness she shared so freely. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street in Mississauga, Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1 from 6:00–8:00 p.m., and on Thursday, April 2 from 10:00–11:00 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m.
Please note: Temporary construction is affecting northbound traffic on Hurontario Street, which may cause a short delay. Please allow for a few additional minutes of travel time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice.

Nancy was full of life and loved her friends and family! She fondly recalled moments she treasured about her grandchildren and her children. Nancy and I had several dinners and late night conversations talking about her great life full of memories. Nancy was a great friend with a terrific sense of humour as we laughed about many things until our stomach hurt! She was very proud of her family and her accomplishments in life. It was very important to Nancy that people knew that if you were a friend of hers, she would be there for you no matter what! She will be dearly missed and I truly hope heaven is everything she wanted it to be as she deserves the peace and serenity.
