In Celebration of

Nancy Anne Dempster

September 10, 1958 -  September 10, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Dempster, a cherished mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who left us on September 10, 2025. Nancy was 67 years old.

Nancy was born in Toronto to John & Florence Dempster. A sister to William and Charles Dempster, and aunt to Melissa, William, Ashley, and Madison. Great-aunt to little Emily.

As a devoted mother to Stephanie Dempster, Nancy’s love knew no bounds. She dedicated her life to nurturing Stephanie, offering unwavering support and encouragement, shaping her into the remarkable person she is today. Nancy’s love was a guiding light, and her legacy will live on through Stephanie and all those she touched.

Known for her generous spirit and loving nature, Nancy had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel valued and cared for.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Thursday, October 9th, 2025 at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor Street West) Toronto, between 4- 7pm . Family and friends are invited to join in honouring her remarkable life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Canadian Cancer Society in Nancy’s name, reflecting her compassionate spirit and desire to help others.

Rest in peace, dear Nancy, your love will forever remain in our hearts.

Nancy,
I only knew you for a few years but how important they were! We'll never see our teens again, or even West Toronto Secondary but that time and place, and sharing it all with you has kept me warm ever since.

I know you had a wonderful time on this Earth. We're all here by luck and we're all lucky to be here. I wish you well in your next adventure.

Charles.
