Nadine Farran

October 16, 1963 - October 23, 2021

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nadine Farran on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Cherished wife of John and adored mother of Nathalie. Nadine is predeceased by both her mother, Yvonne, and her father Roland, who passed earlier this year.

Nadine was a dynamic member of the Food and Beverage Industry, working at FONA International at the time of her passing. Dedicating her time and expertise generously to various organizations, Nadine was an active member of the St. Mildred’s-Lightbourn School community, sitting on the Board of Governors and chairing the Advancement Committee. Nadine will be remembered by all as the bright light that shone throughout, lifting the lives of all around her. She was incredibly supportive and inspiring to all her family and friends.

A lover of travel and cuisine, Nadine was a marvelous chef and loved impressing those around her with her impeccable creations. Always treating her family to well-organized explorations of culture and new experiences, Nadine traveled the world for both work and play. Her enthusiasm and love of life shone through everything she did, flourishing in the company of family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Nadine was a such a warm and kindhearted person. We have know each other for over 20 years through the Food Business and through Women in Food Industry Management. Anytime we saw each other at events, she was always full of smiles and laughter. We wouldn’t see each other for a while, months or sometimes years and yet it was like we had been friends forever and we easily caught up with everything that was going on in our lives and careers. I will miss her radiance and love of life.

My deepest condolences to Nadine’s family and friends. I know that she will be sorely missed by everyone.

My deepest condolences to John and Nathalie.
Nadine was the very first parent I met as a new parent at St. Mildred’s. Nadine made an immediate impact with her kindness and bubbly enthusiasm. We became friends and I enjoyed her company over numerous lunches, coffees and galas. She was a lovely, giving, accomplished woman, I am truly saddened by her passing.

Dear John & Nathalie:
It is with a heavy heart that we are submitting an entry today.
Nadine meant so very much to me personally and professionally!
She has made such a tremendous contribution to Women in Food and to everyone she called a friend! She always had the brightest star shining on her and she never hesitated to give of herself to anyone in need! I will miss Nadine so much! Her laughter, friendship and kindness. Please know that you are both in our hearts and if there is ANYTHING you need at any time of the day, please call. Like Nadine, there is always a cheese tray ready. We love you both so much and please reach out if in need. Luv Dorina & Gabor
