In Celebration of

Miroslav Androich

March 17, 1949 -  July 11, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Miroslav Androich announces his passing. Miro passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 11, 2018 at the age of 69 after a short and courageous battle with lung cancer. He will forever be remembered by his wife of 46 years, Helen (nee Milinkovich), and his children Alicia (James) and Joso (Corissa). He will live in their hearts forever, as well as through his sweet grandchildren Savannah, Sebastian and Kiera. Miro was brother to Lela (Simo), Zeljko (Nena) and Slavko (Ljerka), his siblings in Croatia, where he was born and raised.

Miro loved music, boating and making jokes. A tough guy with a big heart, he was well respected in the construction trades for 45 years. Miro will be with his family and friends in the moments when we hear a good song, watch a Croatian soccer match or share a good laugh. We will always miss him, but are grateful for all he gave and taught us.

Private funeral arrangements have taken place. Memorial donations may be made to The Dorothy Ley Hospice or a charity of your choice.

To my Uncle Miro 'The Big M,'

You are forever missed. Please say hi to my Dad - I hope you're together again. And I wanted so much for you to meet my Hanjo. But you will be with us on our wedding day, and always.

Dear Helen and Family,

I was so sorry to hear about Miroslav's passing. It seems so unexpected. I hope that you and your family are managing this great loss.

With deepest sympathy, Jane & Bob Turner.

P.S. We no longer have Major, he died in April 2018.
I have missed seeing you in our neighbourhood. Do you have another dog? We had dogs for forty years and Major was our last. Jane
