Mildred was a wonderful dear friend- to my late mother Kay, but also to me and my children Lauren and Adam.
When I broke it to Adam, he had a fond story to tell of eating angel food cake ... made with ingredients Mildred had 'loaned' to Kay.... and how wonderful the cake would be.
She will be sorely missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all her daughters at this most difficult time. We have known Mildred for many, many years. What I,Susan, remember most is going carolling at Black Creek Pioneer Village with all the girls. Then coming back to the house and Mildred and Clayton making donuts in the back yard.
All our love

Mildred was like a 2nd mother to me and one of my mothers very best friends. It is because of Mildred that I found faith and the strength God's love can provide. There will only be one very special Mrs. McAulay. Mildred looked after everyone and cared so deeply. A true caring saint. Our condolences to the McAulay Family.

Dear Cousins,
I am sitting here in Ottawa reminscing about one of the most beautiful people the planet ever knew. When our dad (Carl) spent many years in the 70's receiving dialysis treatment at Toronto General Hospital, Mildred was there to support us. When I think of the difficult times our family went through it is nice to remember this lovely "soft place to fall". Mildred and her family were there for us all.
The Good Lord will be waiting for her with open arms. My Dad will be there welcoming her!
Love you all.
Franny
Ginny and Paul: We are very sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a great lady. She did very well driving her car etc. into her 90s. We have made a donation to St. Philip's Evangelical Lutheran Church in memory of your Mom. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
