October 11, 1928 - November 27, 2018

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Mary for 62 years. Loving father of Lorry Katanik (Steve) and Kathy Klas (Stan). Cherished Dzedo of Jacqui Mason (Zach), Matthew Klas (Stephanie), Elizabeth Katanik (Flavian) and Lauren Katanik.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, (Hwy 10, N. of the QEW) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday, November 30. Parastas (Prayers) at 3:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Slovak Church, 5255 Thornwood Dr., Mississauga, on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Cancer Society.

Dear Mrs Belas, Lori and Kathy:
I am sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Mr Belas growing up on Hernshaw.
It meant so much to see you all at Dad’s funeral. Please know you are all in my thoughts and would be there on Saturday if not so far away.
