January 30, 1925 -  July 18, 2017

Passed away peacefully at Malton Village on Tuesday July 18, 2017. Pre deceased by his beloved wife Maria (2008). Beloved father to Barbara (late Iain), Richard (late Irene), and Julian. Beloved Grandfather to Jaime, Corrie, Christopher (Alison), Steven, Cameron, and Katelynd. Loving Great Grandfather to Joshua, Isabelle, Emily, and Lilliandra. Will be deeply missed by his sister Irene and many nieces and nephews. Michael enjoyed traveling to warm places in his spare time, listening to opera, and spending quality time with his loving family, he will be fondly remembered. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) on Friday from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10:30am. Interment Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. On-line condolences may be made using this website.
