Michelle Anne Miziolek was the most consistent woman in every regard of her life. She was a mother for her mother, her three brothers, her friends, her cousins and coworkers. She was a mother to her tasks at work, be it client or patient needs under her care; treating everyone who was a part of her life as if they lived in her own home. Most importantly, Michelle was a loving mother to her adored son, Matthew, and finally, a mother to her beautiful garden.
Michelle’s laugh was infectious and she had a great deal of pride in her Polish heritage, keeping with cultural, community, faith, religious and family traditions. She brought everyone and everything together. She was a wonderful dancer and had a beautiful voice, both of which she enjoyed expressing often, certainly nothing short of art each time. As our lives evolve, people move to other locations, start new families, grow in character and time isn't always available to contact everyone we would like to on a regular basis. When asked, all her friends said the same thing, that when speaking with Michelle, the conversation picks up exactly where it last left off. Her heart, her mind and human nature were unwavering. Again, consistent.
Words cannot even begin to express how phenomenal her cooking was. Her kitchen was always full of the smells, tastes and warmth of home. She would be so creative around the holidays, crafting butter lambs for Easter and sharing them with her family. Her efforts have always been noticeable. The children in her neighborhood loved her decorations and the effort she put into making her home light up for different seasons of the year. She had a positive outlook through difficult times and generously offered what she had and even what she didn’t. Only the Lord knows how much we can all take a page or two out of her book to learn these concepts. Her soul is pure.
Michelle was a woman like no other, quick of sharp-wit, clever and always so gentle with her sense of humor, even regarding hard topics like politics. She brought joy to everyone around her: The spirit of culture, kindness and compassion, passing it to all her loved ones and even those only briefly exposed to her presence.
Michelle (Misia) Anne Miziolek was the greatest mother to her son Matthew Medakiewicz. She possessed unmatched sacrifice and patience, guiding him through every stage of his life. She taught him to be creative and devoted each long non-working hour in an office to his development to offer the best life for him. She taught him to be responsible for his educational assignments, reading the lesson plans for the following day to prepare him for tomorrow’s expectations, guiding him through necessary forward thinking and the preparations required to achieve the best results each day. Michelle taught Matthew to overcome and process difficult emotional, financial and administrative challenges, loved him unconditionally regardless of success or failures through the trials of his and her life together.
On June 19th at approximately 3:13 pm, this world lost one of its most incredible earth angels. Her spirit leaves a lasting mark on everyone she touched, blessing us all with the time she shared with us. Her lifelong sacrifices will never be forgotten by those who honored her. Michelle’s beauty and compassion will forever be missed. She lived to lead by example and was the paragon of a soul living a beautiful life. Spending most of her career in finance, she was devoted to growing within her organization as she was family, continuous education and the beautiful nature she wished to have developing in her garden both literally at home and metaphorically everywhere.
Michelle was the eldest of four siblings, daughter to Diane and Henry Miziolek, a noble woman with the highest of integrity meeting every adversity of life with valor in the hopes of showing others by her incredible leadership, how to approach difficulty, strength to overcome it, maintaining honor through less favorable outcomes ultimately achieving success for her prosperous life.
