In Celebration of

Michelle Condillac

September 17, 1957 -  May 24, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce Michelle’s sudden passing on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital at the age of 62. Cherished daughter of Beryl and the late Garth Condillac. Adored sister of Vicki Schmitt (Chris) and Rosemary Condillac (David). Much loved aunt of Eric Schmitt (Kailey Ono), Andrew Schmitt (Ashley Tam), Ryan Schmitt (Kaitlyn Ortin), and Catherine Keldsen, and doting great aunt to Norah Schmitt. Michelle is reunited in heaven with her father and sisters Cindy (Jean Francois) & Cathy.
Michelle always considered it a privilege and a calling to be a nurse. She devoted 38 years of her life to caring for sick children and their families as a RN and spent many years teaching and mentoring nurses to provide quality care. She thanked God for making it possible for her to do this work.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Turner and Porter Funeral Directors. The Rite of Christian Burial will take place with her immediate family in the days to come. A Celebration of her life will be planned for family, friends, and colleagues when we can join together safely to honour her.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michelle’s memory can be made to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital through a special campaign in her name. The funds collected will be directed to the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Team, on which she culminated her career. www.hollandbloorview.ca/Michelle

Michelle was a much-loved cousin. She had great faith and made a wonderful pilgrimage led by her uncle Father Michael D''Cruz, OFM. She visited many Holy sites including Lourdes and Fatima. Michelle dealt admirably with many challenges in her life. She will be sorely missed by all our family.

We are saddened to hear of Michelle's passing. The disability field has lost a dedicated professional who contributed so much to the people she supported over the years as a nurse at Holland Bloorview. Our thoughts are with Beryl, Rosemary and the extended family.

Michelle's was a life well lived. Though not in the best of health herself, she devoted her life to caring for others and now she is in God's care. She is truly an example to us all.. May Her family find strength to bear her loss..Christine de Souza

We will always cherish our time with you, and all the advice you gave me for Mom when she was ill. Mom loves the afghan you made for her and will always cherish it.
We love you Michelle, and please look down on us and keep on sending us advise.
Rest In Peace Michelle!

I love you Michelle!
You were here for such a short time, and I still can’t believe you are gone.
Thank you for the afghan, which I will always cherish. You were a good friend as well as my niece.
