In Celebration of

Michael Silva

May 7, 1930 -  April 21, 2018

Died at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Saturday April 21, 2018 at the age of 87. Michael was blessed with a peaceful death surrounded by his loving family. Married to Marie Celine Cecilia Silva (predeceased, July 22, 2005) for 45 years and adored by her and his children, Ashley, Andrea, Rodney, and Neil. Grandchildren Josuha, Adam, Zachary, Elijah, Alexa, Matthew, Alexandra, Olivia, Stephanie, Jessica and Christina. Beloved father-in-law to Maria and Andrew. Michael will be greatly missed by his many devoted extended family members and friends. The last few years have taken their toll on him, but our memory of his faith, spirit, humor and talents as a father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend will be forever etched in our minds and hearts. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for the exemplary care he received in the emergency unit, the fourth floor and on the sixth floor Palliative Care Unit.
