Michael Herbert, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 12, 2019 at his home in Toronto, ON. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice, of 55 years, his children Lynda (Myron), and Christopher, and his grandchildren Sonya, and Larysa. Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Butler Chapel located at 4933 Dundas St. W., (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) Etobicoke on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 6-9 pm. A Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 11 am. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Dorothy Ley Hospice or Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. Uncle Mike was a part of my life from the very beginning. He was there coaching me at football, lending a helping hand whenever needed, sharing all that was his with us all, providing sage advice and just generally sending his love to us all. He will be greatly missed. God Bless Uncle Mike!

Michael was a wonderful man, much loved and respected by all. He will be greatly missed. We may not be able to get to the services as Denis is not strong at the moment but we wil keep you and Michael in our prayers. Please accept our sincerest sympathies.
