In Celebration of

Meghan Jones Kirkland

August 17, 1983 -  July 2, 2018

Gone too soon, Meghan passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Andrew Kirkland and devoted mother to their 20 month old daughter, Evan Kirkland. Much loved daughter of Glynne and Liz (Evans) Jones, dear sister of Carly (Rob) Milne and her dear niece Nola. Meghan will be greatly missed by her Grandmother Betty Evans, her Aunts Pat Evans, Jane (Terry) Costaris, Becky (Dave Kerr) Williams and Uncles Rick (Sheila) Jones, Rick (Deb) Evans and David Evans. Remembered with love by cousins Shawn & Trevor (Erin) Jones, Greg & Ian (Amber) Miller, Claire & Kate Costaris, Stuart (Kristen) & Lizzy Evans, and Richard Evans. Predeceased by her Grandparents Dick Evans, Bill & Margaret Jones, Uncle David Jones and Aunt Kathy Evans.

Meghan was lovingly embraced by her Kirkland family and will be sadly missed by her in-laws Ken & Katherine Kirkland, her sisters-in-law Jenny (Mike) Cox and Christine (Simon Cooper) Kirkland and 6 beautiful nieces and nephew Brody, Kaitlyn, Chloe & Kennedy Cox and Ella & Cameron Cooper.
Meghan graduated with a B.Comm (Hons.) from Queens University in 2006. She excelled in her business career first at ACNielsen and then Unilever. Meghan travelled the world extensively. She was a brilliant hostess and loved to entertain her family and friends. Meghan was a planner and a list maker, a seeker of new experiences and a kind, generous friend.

Along the way, she made many friends whose kindness during our anguish has helped the family tremendously. Special thanks to her Queens Girls, Nielsen Girls, Courtney Clayton and the Unilever family.

Memorial Donations to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research (https://donate.sunnybrook.ca/braincancerresearch) would be appreciated by the family

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
