Maurice Anthony Fernandes

It is with great sadness that we inform you Maurice Anthony (Rui) Fernandes passed away on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 at the Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga. He succumbed to a heart attack.

Maurice is survived by his siblings Elsa (late John), Nina (late Albert), and Lino (Thelma). Loving uncle to Brian (Ivette), Carol (Ryan), Vince, Ian and Melissa. Cherished by his grandnephews Isaiah and Evan, and his grandniece Isabel.

Visitation will be at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga on Friday, June 16th, 2017 from 4:00pm – 9:00pm.

The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, June 17th, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Parish, 921 Flagship Drive, Mississauga at 9:30am. Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga.

In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations in memory of Maurice may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at www.heartandstroke.ca or by calling 1-877-882-2582.
