In Celebration of

Mary Pendyk (nee Taylor)

March 19, 1928 -  February 9, 2019

After a full and wonderful life (90 years young), passed away peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Dearly beloved wife of her predeceased husband of 50 years, Kazimer (aka Kasey). Much loved and will be dearly missed by her children John, Sue (Stafford), Dan (Laurie), Julia (Jerry) and Jeremy (Jacqueline). She will also be greatly missed and was adored by her grandchildren Danielle, Julia, Jed (Kate), Nikki (Tom), Jesse, Matthew (Ashley), Jade, Noah, Zoë, Jonathan, Joshua and great -grandchildren Lola, Otis, Coco, Olive, Poppy, Noa and Luna. Mary was born and raised in Toronto where she was a devoted member of the Toronto North Christadelphian Ecclesia. Her strong faith guided her throughout her 90 years and was of great comfort to her in her final days. Mary moved to Mississauga 10 years ago and became an active resident at Hillside place where she developed many warm and dear friendships. Mary’s brothers and sisters in Christ alongside her family and friends, were a source of great strength and joy throughout her life. Mary was so very grateful for the wonderful care and kindness provided by all her care team including the St. Elizabeth nurses and personal service workers. Mary was blessed by the superb compassion and care provided by all members of Ian Anderson House. The family are especially grateful for the loving care provided by Nurse Dulce. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy # 10 N. of the QEW) Mississauga on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Toronto North Christadelphian Ecclesia Church, 39 Knox Ave., Toronto on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 1 p.m. It is Mary’s wish that donations be made to the Hospital for Sick Kids in lieu of flowers.

Your mother was a dear sister who always had a smile on her face. She died in the hope of the resurrection at the coming of our Lord. What a great blessing it is to know that we will see her again. She will be greatly missed by her family and her brothers and sisters in the Hope of Israel. May the God of all comfort, comfort you at this sad time and give you peace.
