Will miss Pani Ogonek ... a mother of our extended families.
In our youth we regularly tested her patience ... so many porch meetings, card games, the door was always open ... we were welcome ... her tolerance and kindness perservered, keeping us on the right path.
For that we thank you.
Rest in Peace
Our sincere condolences go out to you Christina, John, and the Ogonek family.
When my parents came to Toronto from Poland in 1960, the Ogoneks were one of their first group of friends.
Pani Ogonek's husband Jan was my Godfather. Even when mom and I went to visit her 3 years ago, it was impressive as always to hear her speak of the family and share her memories with us. She would not miss a beat. She will be missed indeed.
