In Celebration of

Mary MacDonald Wilson (nee Manore)

January 26, 1937 - August 16, 2020

Peacefully in Toronto on August 16, 2020. Loving wife of over 50 years of William McClain Wilson. Beloved mother of Victoria (Karen Lovell) and Mary (Ashley Collier) and adored Granny of Jack, Katie, Charlotte and Annie. Dear sister of Reid Manore (Joanne) of Fredericton and kind aunt to eleven nieces and nephews.

Mary loved her work as a physiotherapist and was cherished by many patients and colleagues. She shared her love of theatre, art, literature and travel with her family and she revelled in being a grandmother.

Many thanks to the staff at Humber Heights for caring lovingly for Mary.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society or the Alzheimer Society.

A celebration of life will follow once it is safe to gather.

Mary was a wonderful mentor to me as a young professional Physiotherapist. Her kindness and encouragement were a constant source of inspiration and support. Her love of people and life energized all who knew her. She was an exceptional human being whose light touched so many of us, who were fortunate enough to call her a friend.

My heart is aching with sadness for Bill, Tory, Mary and their families.
Along with them and the many people who met and loved Mary during her life, I'll keep memories of her beautiful spirit, sense of fun and her generous friendship close forever.

The chosen picture shows Mary's constant smile and willingness to see the
positive in every person and every situation. She also knew how to be a friend ,
as our family experienced for ten years of being neighbours and for the nearly
forty years since. May she rest in peace now knowing her love of friends
and family will go on forever. I shall miss her presence in my life.
