December 14, 1945 -  June 1, 2020

Hahnelt, Mary (nee McCormick) (Saxton) passed away in Oshawa on Monday, June 1st, 2020, at the age of 74. Loving mother of Catherine and her husband Christian. Cherished Granny of Thomas and Matthew. Mary was predeceased by her husband Bernhard. Dear sister of Anne and her husband John; and her dear sister-in-law Hilary, predeceased by her brother Tom. Loving aunt of Louise (Mark) Steve (Lindsay), Paula (Rashid), Lora, and Greg. Mary will be fondly remembered by Lucy (Dave) and their family, extended family, and several friends.

Due to the circumstances in the world today, a private family service will take place.

If desired, donations may be made to The Ontario SPCA or the Alzheimer’s society.

Mary you will be missed by a lot of friends and dog walkers in Children's Arena Park. Spin will miss his walks with Jack and I will miss our chats about England and our boys(dogs). Rest in Peace. My sincere condolences to the family.

My sincere condolences. Mary was such a pleasant person to speak with. For about 20 years many of us at valley view park Oshawa were delighted to see Mary regularly walking her dog. She will certainly be missed alot!
