<div itemprop="description">MacDonald, Mary Elizabeth (nee Reagan) <br />May 3, 1923 &ndash; December 25, 2015 <br />Passed away peacefully in her sleep at her Islington, ON, home on Christmas morning. Mary was surrounded, loved and deeply cared for by her family of nine children, Richard Joseph (Trish), Stephen Joseph (Andrea), Margaret Mary Doherty (Ron), Ann Marie MacDonald (Frank), Lori Lillian Sullivan (Bob), Joseph Francis MacDonald, Mary Catherine McKay (Kevin), Andrew Joseph (Rina), Timothy Joseph (Jingle); 17 grandchildren, Christopher (Alaina), Andrew, Patrick (Anne), Michael, Elizabeth (Jeff), Ryan (Sarah), Jennifer, Matthew, Claire, Richard Alexander (II), Lauren, Sarah, Clara, Richard, Lindsay, Michael, Ethan and four great grandchildren, Liam, Rose, Madeleine, and Jane with more great grandchildren to come. Predeceased on May 12, 2015 by her husband of 67 years, the light of her life, Richard Alexander. She was born in Toronto to Herb and Lillian Regan, the youngest of six children. Predeceased by her parents and all her siblings - Gertrude Lillian, Laurence, Patricia, Neil, and Jack. A confidante to many, Mary&rsquo;s grace, beauty and welcoming smile eased all who met her. The challenges of raising a family of nine were many but Mary silently and gracefully navigated all. Visitation to be held on Tuesday, December 29th, 5-8PM at Turner and Porter, Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke. Funeral Mass to be celebrated December 30th, 11 AM at St. Gregory&rsquo;s Catholic Church, 122 Rathburn Road, Etobicoke. Immediately following Mass, burial to be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. <br /></div>
