Mary was an exceptionally caring, loving and kind teacher! All three of our children had the privilege of having Mrs. Arnold as a teacher and they all thrived, as she was a consummate professional. She always went above and beyond on a daily basis and treated all her students as if they were her own children.

We enjoyed her musical performances and her zest for living. We feel very blessed she was in our lives.

Our condolences to her family as she will be sorely missed. She was a wonderful woman!

I have such fond memories of Mrs. Arnold, my grade 2 teacher at Tecumseh Public School. I remember her being so kind and patient, and particularly diplomatic with my enthusiasm for bringing in show and tell items. And she always had good lipstick! That was so so many years ago. How many young lives she touched. My sincere condolences.

Mary has been a dear friend and neighbour of ours for the past 31 years. I loved our chats over a cup of tea and always waited for her daily greeting through the window. The loss of a person as wonderful as Mary isn’t going to be easy. But much like Mary’s character, I hope you know you are full of strength and that I am here to support you if you ever need it. Call me if you need anything.

I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Arnold’s passing. She was my grade 3 teacher and my favourite! She was always so kind, caring and understanding and I have thought about her often throughout the years. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
With Sympathy,
Lisa Wilhelm
