In Celebration of

Mary Agnes McMullan

March 26, 1928 -  October 19, 2021

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mary at Credit Valley Hospital on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the age of 93.

Beloved wife of the late Donald Joseph. Loving mother of John (Rosanne), Mary McMullan (Glenn Doyle), Anne Pirker, and Paul (Louise Headland). Cherished Gramma of Rebecca, Jocelyn, Kevin, Rachel, Scott, Laura, Zoe, and Tegan. Much loved sister of Kathleen Smith and the late Elizabeth Wolfe.

Mary graduated from the Halifax, NS Infirmary as a registered nurse. Her career led her to Toronto, where she worked at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for several years. While raising a family of four with her husband, she also worked at the Queensway General Hospital in Mississauga. In her later years she returned to school to complete her Masters in Divinity and volunteered her time and energy as President of the Catholic Women’s League at St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish in Port Credit. In addition, she served by providing religious education to new adults and young children entering the church.

Mary loved to travel and explore new horizons.

We are so sorry for your family’s loss and send our deepest sympathy. Your mom lived a very long and full life and is now at rest with your dad. Our dear mother was a very close friend to her and I have many fond memories of your mom. 💕💕

While it’s with great sadness to say goodbye, I take comfort that you’re at peace, out of pain and will in wonderful company with many family and life long friends and many you helped nurse over the many years of your career.

You were a wonderful Mom to your kids and their friends and in fact saved my life at the age of 3, for which I’ve always been very grateful to you.

Love Lindsay (Stone) Goode
