I knew Martha in New Albany when we were both in band. I moved away in my Sophomore year and lost connection with her until Facebook. Since we re-connected we renewed our old friendship. It has been wonderful to know her and the family again, but now I feel the loss of this special friend. My prayers and sympathy go especially to her beloved husband....and of course to all the children and grandchildren. May God wrap his arms around you all and cover you with his love and peace and strength to face the days ahead. God bless you all.

Martha fought the battle. Such a trooper. My prayers go out to Don and the family.

I am so deeply sorry to hear that our beloved "Mrs. B." has died. She was like a second mom to me growing up and was always wise, warm and loving. I can still hear the cow bell ringing on Bramblewood, that signalled time for us all to stop playing kick-the-can and head home for dinner. My condolences to you all Su, Mike, Les, and of course the love of Martha's life, Don. I will be there on Wednesday and hope to offer any comfort that I can. Hugs and love to you all. She was and will always be, absolutely cherished and loved. xoxo Michele, John and Sasha.
