God gracefully called for Maroulla Ioannou (née Tsangaridou) on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at the age of 95, as she peacefully passed away at Elm Grove Living Centre. She will be reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Charilaos (2010). Loving mother of Joanna Andreou (Stelios), Andrew (Sotira), Rita Themistocleous (Socrates), and Chris (Susanne). Proud yiayia of Andrea (Peter), Marios (Evie), Maria (Demos), Andrea (Petros), Harrison (Diana), Helen, the late Harris, George, Maria-Chara (Leonidas), Elisabeth, Christiane, and Johanna. Adored great-grandmother of Stella, Alexander, Sofia, Andriana, Elina, Sotiris, Chloe, Margarita, and Cleo. Beloved sister of the late Andreas (Chrystalla), and the late Kleanthea. She will be held very dear in the hearts of her sister Eleni (Pre-deceased Theodoros), and her brother George (Magda). She will be fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada and abroad.

Visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of Jane Subway, on Monday, August 7th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral liturgy will be held at the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 136 Sorauren Avenue, Toronto, on Tuesday, August 8th at 11 a.m. Burial will proceed at Park Lawn Cemetery.
