After a courageous battle with cancer, in his 29th year, Mark Yacoub passed away at the Princess Margaret Hospital on the 10th day of September, 2016. Through all of his struggles, Mark never lost faith or optimism. With unwavering strength, he was determined to live the fullest life possible and inspired us all to do the same.

Mark is survived by his devoted parents, Adel and Salwa; brother Fady (Traci-Ann); maternal grandmother Yvonne; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his adoring nephew Zavier whose love and innocent spirit drove his desire to keep fighting.

A prayer service will be held on Monday, September 12th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the Church of the Virgin Mary and St. Athanasius, 1245 Eglinton Ave W, Mississauga. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 13th at 12:00pm at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the church or Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
