In Celebration of

Mark McIntosh

May 19, 1958 -  September 3, 2024

Mark passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Joseph Brant Hospital, at the age of 66.

He is survived by his daughter Megan; his puppy Millie; Megan’s mother Dona; Megan’s partner Matthew; and Mark's brothers Scott (Dawn), John, Craig (Joanne), and Bill (Lauren). Mark was predeceased by his parents; his older sister Lynn; his older brothers Bob and Tommy; and his sister-in-law Mary Anne and Jane.

Known for his warm heart and sense of humor, he took immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. His love for chocolate milk was matched only by his affection for his faithful companion Millie.

He treasured every moment spent with his daughter and her partner Matthew and found great joy in the company of his friends and brothers during lively poker games. These moments of connection and laughter were the highlights of his life, and he will be fondly remembered for his generosity, kindness, and the deep love he had for those around him.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2473 Thorn Lodge Dr., Mississauga, on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at The Waterside Inn, 15 Stavebank Rd S, Mississauga, ON L5G 2T2.

For those who wish to make donations, they may be made to Diabetes Canada and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Condolences to the entire Mckintosh family. We met Mark in early 1980’s in Toronto with the rest of the Dorval crew. He was always kind, interested, and a genuine good guy who will be missed by all that knew him. RIP Mark

I just received the horrible news today of Mark's passing today and my heart breaks as I write this post. I have worked with Mark for 14 years when he worked for Industrial Thermo Polymers / Armacell. I am truly blessed to have known him for this length of time. He was a an amazing guy, who was always in a great mood, with a warming heart and great personality. I can still remember his friendly voice and his laugh from the many times we had spoke, which will never be forgotten. My prayers go out to his family, friends and loved ones. This world won't be the same without him.
