In Celebration of

Marjorie Eaton

November 21, 1918 -  August 24, 2016

Peacefully at home in Mississauga on August 24, 2016 in her 98th year. Predeceased by husband Harvie and son David. Born in Shrewsbury, England where she met and married her dear Harvie, a Canadian posted to the RAF during the Second World War. While always grateful for the kindness of Harvie’s extended family and her many fine friends in Canada, Marjorie always maintained her ties with her native country and her remaining relatives there. She leaves behind nieces Janette & Carolyn (England and Wales) and Linda (Ontario). Having outlived many of her friends she appreciated beyond words those that remained. Special thanks to Virginia, her best friend and caregiver of many years. Also to the kindness, care and assistance of Elaine (her “secretary”), Evelyn, Winsome, Marian and April. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of QEW) at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2016 followed by funeral service at 3:00 pm in the Chapel. In memory of Marjorie, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences can be made through www.turnerporter.ca

I'll miss having a Timmie's with you and our many spirited conversations about any and all subjects. I'll miss your sense of humour and your stories. I'll miss you so much Marjorie.

I have prepared Marjorie's tax returns for a few years. Marjorie became a friend through my daughter Julie Glasson Mueller, who began by volunteering for the local library and met Marjorie about 6-7 years ago. They became very close and by extension I got to know Marjorie. She was a sweet lady, who always seemed to enjoy our visits and made me feel welcome in her home. I was struck by her warmth and intelligence right to the end. RIP Marjorie you will be missed.
