Marion was well known for her impressive range of knowledge to the point where it was virtually impossible to find a subject in which she was not well-versed. When we were visiting her at the Dorothy Ley Hospice one day, we assumed that she was asleep so we were chatting quietly with Fran about a cottage we were planning on visiting the next day. However, an error was made in the pronunciation of the road where the cottage was situated. From the bed, we hear Marion, eyes still closed, telling us the proper name of the road! Marion was Marion until the end. We will miss her.
Fran, thinking of you, and your family, at this difficult time. Huge hugs.

Marion will be sorely missed. She had a quiet voice, but she was a force! I think the phrase "vim and verve" apply to her incredible wit and quick verbal repartee.
