Nicolae Marin

September 24, 1954 -  April 20, 2022

Nicolae Marin, 67, passed away peacefully at Mississauga Trillium Hospital on April 20, 2022 with his loving son Sebastian by his side. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Born in Bucharest, Romania, Nick is survived by his son Sebastian Marin, daughter-in-law Theresa Marin, granddaughter Selene Marin, granddog Major Marin, brother George Marin, along with his cherished extended family and close friends. Nick is predeceased by his parents, Niculae and Ioana Marin.

Nicolae, also known as: Nick, Tata, Tataie, & Mihai, was a true Gentleman. He will be forever remembered for his kindness, compassion, empathy, and loyalty. Nick had a strong passion for soccer. He would regularly watch his favourite teams, Rapid București & Liverpool FC. He took pride in having trained his son as a soccer player. Some of his greatest joy came from attending practices and matches. Nick was a music lover, who would spend most of his free time watching his favourite music videos, at high volume.

Family and Friends are invited to Turner & Porter “Yorke” Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto for visitation on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 6-9 pm.

The funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 10:00am at St.Mary's Church (130 Bathurst Street, Toronto, ON, M5V 2R2). Note: Live recording will be made available. The streaming link can be found on this page 24 hours prior to the funeral service.

The family is requesting anyone attending the visitation or funeral mass to wear a mask. Thank you.
