In Celebration of

Marilyn Joyce Weston

October 3, 1936 -  November 2, 2019

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Predeceased by her husband, Harold (1988). Lovingly remembered by her children, Cheryl (James Gregory), Randy, Brad, and Denise (Sofie Lasiuk). Loving grandma to Max (Sam Gregory), Christianne (Kenny Hunter) and Chelsea (Evan Ryan). Great-grandma to Kailee, Ella, Maya and Murphy. Beloved sister of Doreen (Wayne Halliwell), Carol Taylor and Bob (June Steeves). Predeceased by her brothers Wes and Ron Steeves.

She was proud of her long career at the Hudson’s Bay Co. Queen St. Store, and enjoyed many years of giving back to her community as a volunteer at both Trillium Hospital, Queensway, and Credit Valley Hospital.

Her kind and loving nature will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was quick to laugh and to smile. She will remain in our hearts forever.

For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Dear Mom, I know you are gone from this earth but you are not gone from my thoughts or my prayers. I will cherish the memories and always be grateful for how you loved unconditionally and encouraged every endeavour. You will be missed every second of every day for the rest of my life. No holiday dinner will ever be quite the same, no family gathering will seem complete and no spontaneous outing will ever seem to be as much fun or exciting. But we will go on and try to make you proud, try to exemplify the values and lessons you taught us. We will teach the girls about their amazing Great Grandma and we will speak of you often. We will laugh and we will cry and we will never forget you. I love you more than words can express. Love always, Cheryl
