It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our precious and treasured Mama, Baka, and Great Grandmother, Marija Vukojevic, on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Trillium Hospital, at the age of 85. Marija was the heart of our home and family, treasuring her children and grandchildren and embracing every moment with a heart full of love and pride.

Marija joins in heaven her beloved husband of 50 years, Ivan Vukojevic and is survived by her loving daughters Anica (Ann) Westren-Doll and Ivanka (Yvonne) Posavec. Adored and cherished Baka to Natasha (Aaron), Damir (Jelena), Krystina (Kevin), and Pamela. Baka’s heart was full of love and pride when blessed with becoming a great grandmother to Meela, and embracing Jordan as a great grandson.

Blessings and precious moments were many and Baka was anxiously looking forward to the birth of her great grandson in January.

Visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter "Neweduk- Erin Mills" Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on Thursday, October 17th from 6-9 p.m with prayers at 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Croatian Catholic Church, 2110 Trafalgar Rd., Oakville, on Friday October 18, 2024 at 10 am, followed by interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Mississauga.
