It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother Maria da Lourdes Dutra. She left this world peacefully on August 27, 2024 surrounded by her beloved family, reuniting with her parents, sister, & brother.

Maria took a lot of pride in her family, she leaves behind her beloved husband and best friend of the last 64 years, Raul. They came to Canada together in 1960 and have built a life and legacy together. The loss of Maria will be immensely felt by her children Victor (Sally), Dino (Isabel), Marci (Tony), & Mario (Stella). She will be dearly missed by all her grandchildren Tyler (Erica), Lindsay (Jon), Leigh-Anne (Rui), Kaitlyn (Brandon), Kyle, Matthew (Jenna), Austin (Chyanne), Aaron, Madelyne (Massimo), & Grace. Her memory will live on in her great grandchildren – Olivia, Maddison, Adrian, Jesse, & Julian. She was a cherished sister to Alda (Helder) & Sally.

Family and friends are invited for visitation at Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario, Mississauga, on Monday, September 2, 2024 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM

Funeral Mass will be held at Cristo Rei Parish, 3495 Confederation Pkwy., Mississauga on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM

Entombment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga

To honour Maria and her giving heart, we would ask that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Daily Bread Food Bank.
