Maria Amelia da Rosa passed away on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at Credit Valley Hospital surrounded by family and love. Maria Amelia was born on May 2, 1934 in the small village of Feteira on the island of Faial, Azores Portugal. Maria Amelia is a loving mother of Maria Natalia, Mario, Isabel and Paula; beloved grandmother of Nelson, Sonia, Michael, Madison, Mackenzie, Caitlyn, Gabriella, Milan, and Marek; and beloved sibling to Alfredo, Jose, Francisco, Antonio, Manuel, Teresinha, Laura, Maria Alice, Manuel, Mario, Maria deLurdes, and Renato. Maria Amelia will be sadly missed as a mother in law to Tony, Cathy and John along with many other friends and family.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and palliative care unit at Credit Valley Hospital for their compassion and care.

Mom's 80 th Birthday Party , an amazing group of family and friends gathered to celebrate. She was so proud and happy to see everyone who came.
